im back. i promise!

wow. ive been totally mia. so, so sorry!

the past few weeks have been jam packed and i have literally had no time to update sparrow branch (imagine how full my tivo is!). life is finally calming down and i am back, ready to blog! this past week i visited san fran and napa valley for my fab bestie, miss sarah kernion's bachelorette party, and it could not have been more fun. here is a snap shot of some pics from the weekend. will probably go down in history as the best.weekend.ever!

for those of you who have been following my blog for a while, you know how much i love bobbi brown makeup. their lotions, creams, toners, eye shadows, bronzers, basically everything. except, for their lip gloss. i have been an avid supporter of chanels lip gloss for years instead due to its tacky free finish. however, chanel lip gloss color does not stay put for very long.



well, a few weeks ago i got my makeup done at bobbi brown and they used this rich color gloss on me. i was instantly sold! this particular gloss is tacky free, has long lasting color, and there are great shades to chose from. plus, it is only $20 instead of chanels $35. done and done!

happy halloween weekend! aj and i will be enjoying ga/fl festivities all weekend long and handing out candy sunday night to all the trick-or-treaters. everyone be safe!

pleasantly surprised

ever since my graduation from high school, i can probably count on one hand how many times i have shopped in american eagle outfitters. their clothing is very youthful and i felt like i had grown out of their style. well, after recently seeing some of their pieces featured on my fav blogs and doing a little more investigating, i was pleasantly surprised with what i saw. although collectively i am still not loving their entire collection(it still is very youthful, they have some great items! here is what i found and everything is super affordable.
