dell...it's going to be the death of me

hello to all my followers...

i have been anxiously awaiting for my husband to fix our personal computer(i am using my work one at the moment) and to my despair, it is still not working. at this point, i feel i have 2 options.

1. run it over with my car so i no longer have to deal with the headache of it constantly not working and get a brand new, shinny, good as new macbook..yes please!!

2. be patient while my husband fixes our current home laptop for the 47, 987 time.

until either option 1 or 2 happens, all of the images i have secured to do more postings are being held hostage. please check back this weekend as i hope that option #1 comes true :)

cheers!

weekly budget finds!

day in and day out my feet indure the pain of 4+ inch heels. because i am so tall, people constantly ask why i do this to myself. simply put, because i love love love high heels. i am going to be tall no matter what, i might as well be in shoes that make me feel good!

but, my sore tired feet are needing a rest. and, after a few requests for comfy work shoes, this is what i came up with. i know this post is longer than usual, but i wanted to share everything i found that i liked for under $100.

option #3

here is the last option i have chosen to pair with this staple gray banana republic dress. i love the little pop of color this lilac bag brings to this otherwise monochromatic outfit. the sweater cardigan i chose is extremely versatile and could be paired over other basic dresses for work or over a tee with jeans. also, these boots are ultra sexy with an even sexier price tag!

option #2

here comes the lgd(little gray dress)! i just realized that the last two staples i chose were gray..um...is it obvious what i am drawn towards??

this option i chose has a pop of color, exotic flare, and a whole lot of style. not only would this be great for a business casual look, but can also be worn into the evening for a date night.

option #4

here is the last combo i am posting for the bcbg gray cardigan. this is a more causal option and is a great outfit when spring weather comes around and you are still wanting to get use out of your warmer clothes. the jeans i picked would be great cuffed or left straight especially when paired with heels.

i am going to be a few postings like this so if anyone has a particular item that would like to see paired with different options, let me know!

option #3

getting sick of the gray cardigan?

here is my third option for how i would wear this go-to cardigan. i constantly find myself wearing one piece of clothing all week long for work and it quickly becomes my easy go-to piece. right now, that item is my mossy green velvet j.crew blazer. its comfy, versatile and super easy to pair with different looks. tomorrow i will post my final look to wear with this staple bcbg cardigan.

make it work

fashion...it's not always easy. picking out the right outfit, making the right choices and making it actually look good. but when you walk out the door everyday, you have to make it work!

in the january issue of lucky (which is probably one of my top two favorite fashion magazines) there was an awesome article about piecing outfits together. it is always so interesting to me to see how people put together outfits and how they make it work. every few days, i am going to pick out some pieces that i love so that you can imagine some different outfits put together in a way you might not have thought of before. i hope you feel inspired!

member only shopping

online shopping opportunities are changing everyday. a concept that seems to be really taking off is "member only" shopping websites. this is where you create an account and have the opportunity to shop daily featured designers at extremely discounted prices. i am loving these two websites in particular, rue la la and guilt groupe. only catch? you have to constantly be online to catch what designers are being featured and get on early enough before sizes sell out which happens daily. both websites seem to have limited quantities so shop early in the day. hope you enjoy!
