my wedding,-sept 6, 2008-new york, ny

valentines day...it is officially 2 days aways. people will either be moaning in pain and aggravation as the 2-14 date approaches, or they will be anxious and excited to see what their significant other is able to throw together. i am feeling very blessed to be sharing valentines day with the love of my life. 6 v-days together, and this will only be our 2nd spent together! here are some things that either remind me of love, make my heart beat a little faster, or that i am secretly wishing aj may get for me... :)

new found love..

i recently discovered this brand on one of my beloved blogs i visit daily. instantly, i fell in love with the entire website. some items seem to be a little pricey so if nothing else, window shop to get ideas. this designer is all about color, creativity, and adding a little edge to every piece they design. their clothes are refreshingly different and stand apart from everything that i am use to which i love! here are some inspiring looks i found. there are many more to be found at www.harveyfaircloth.com.

just add a vest

there are so many outfits that could benefit from just a simple vest. whether you decide to wear a vest with sparkle, grommets, or draping, it is such an easy way to spruce up any outfit. think outside the box and add something unexpected underneath like a bright tee or clean-cut dress shirt.

weekly budget finds!

cardigans, cardigans, cardigans! this weeks budget finds are all about the cardigan. these are so great and functional for both work and personal life. i love wearing bright cardigans over dresses one day for work, and the next day throwing one over a blouse and pants. these are also great for my FL life because usually when i leave for work it is chilly outside but by early afternoon it gets warm so i can take it off. all of these are under $100!

get to work

i'm back!

so sorry after such a delay of fashion posting. but my mac is up and running and now back to blogging! after some requests for more work friendly clothing options, i decided to post some jacket options. when people tell me they are required to wear a jacket to work, very often they feel limited to a traditional suit blazer. luckily, fashion has come a long way and today, anything goes...as long as your goods are covered.

here are some versatile, work appropriate options that are bound to spice up any boring work wardrobe. don't be afraid to throw on one of these bright options with a pair of black slacks and killer heels. be daring. be adventurous. and most importantly, have a little fun!

mac, we welcome you

yippee!!!!! the dell crashed. aj caved. we bought our first macbook pro!!

i have been lusting over getting a macbook for years now after using them constantly in college. but, the price tag and aj never got along so it was always "welcome pc." but, now that we took the plunge i have to re-familiarize myself to this thing and start getting new pics for sparrow branch. all of my old pics are still being held hostage by the pc doctors and will unlikely be captured anytime soon. boo. so, stay posted. i have been feeling under the weather and need to get my creative fashion energy flowing again. i will be posting by the end of the week at the very latest!
