nothing makes me more excited..

than a trip to new york! i mean, nothing!! a dear friend of mine, danielle, and i are heading to the big city today and i could not be more excited!! i was not planning on going to ny this fall since i have already been once this year, but who was i kidding? i can not get enough of it! so off we go in hopes of eating fantastic food, buying fabulous clothes, and of course, seeing my favorite friend in the whole entire world! :)

wanting this jacket from bcbg. and, it just went on sale! it's as if it was meant to be and the fashion gods are trying to tell me something! i have been looking for a fab leather jacket for about, well ever. and, i am loving this one. i love the color, the shape, and the missing hardware. um...what is aj going to say...

anyways, i just got an email from our local banana republic that tomorrow only all sale items are going an additional 40% which is obviously, a pretty good deal! if anyone is wondering, i will be heading there with bells on during my lunch break. happy shopping!

i have some very exciting trips coming up that i am currently mentally packing for. but, every now and then i am really in need of some help with packing and new purchases. don't get me wrong, living with a boy is fun the majority of the time, but when i need fashion advice, he just can not stay focused. usually, after a shopping adventure i will have a "fashion show" and prance around the house in all the goodies i found. while he thinks this is comical, he provides no actual help.

well, today i came home with a big purchase. black boots which come right up to my knee cap. like any normal male, aj panicked, asked what the return policy was, and insisted they be returned tomorrow.

so today lauren conrad had 2 new books released, 'sugar and spice' and 'lauren conrad style guide.' i'm not to interested in reading the first, but her book about style has me slightly intrigued. i love love the way she dresses and think she is always classic chic. i don't know, maybe i will just scan through it during my next visit to barnes and nobles. check her book tour schedule to see if she will be stopping in your city for her next signing!
